Training is in full swing for Orchard FM’s directors as the eighth Pedal 4 Pounds charity bike ride draws closer.
This will be the fifth year Gareth Henderson and Neil Ewing have taken part and this time they will be joined by Orchard’s associate director James Holdsworth, who is making his Pedal 4 Pounds debut, and Graeme Henderson of Henderson Property.
Orchard Facilities Management has been a long term supporter of Huddersfield Town’s Pedal 4 Pounds fundraiser, which has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds over the years for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the HTAFC 'Keep it Up' campaign.
This year’s Pedal 4 Pounds cyclists will be heading off on European adventure, starting at Borussia Dortmund’s Westfalenstadionn Dortmund in Germany before pedalling their way back to Yorkshire.
The P4P8 route – dubbed The Wagner Way – has been inspired by the journey that Huddersfield Town head coach David Wagner and his assistant Christoph Buehler made last year. It covers 260 miles over 5 days starting on May 2nd and ending on Saturday May 6th at PPG Canalside in Huddersfield.
The cyclists will complete their traditional lap of honour at the John Smith’s Stadium to coincide with the final game of the season when Wagner’s side hosts Cardiff City.
Orchard FM is once again hoping to raise plenty of money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the HTAFC Keep it Up campaign. To support Gareth, Neil, James and Graeme – and these two very worthy Yorkshire causes – visit https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/OrchardFM-HendersonProp
