A string of new contract wins across Calderdale and Kirklees has sparked a recruitment drive at Elland-based facilities management specialist Orchard FM as it pushes ahead with expansion plans.
The company has recently made new appointments in its waste management team and is currently looking to expand its IT managed services division through the recruitment of additional IT support specialists.
Technical director Neil Ewing said the firm had experienced rapid growth since rebranding earlier this year, prompting a review of the size of its team.
“The number of new clients that have come on board since we launched our new Orchard FM brand has allowed us to expand far sooner than anticipated
“We have an immediate need for IT support technicians with Windows 7 to 10 desktop support experience who can provide remote and on site services to more than 1000 end users across the UK.
“We will be recruiting for both sales and service roles so that we maintain the high levels of client service that local businesses have come to associate with the Orchard name as we continue to grow our client base.”
Orchard FM works with local organisations including 3D visualisation firm Virtual Resolution, Huddersfield Town’s PPG Canalside training ground and Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. It also works with clients across the UK including Chatsworth in Derbyshire, the Devonshire Group of hotels and UK architectural design consultancy HGP.
Mr Ewing said Orchard FM expected to create up to 20 jobs over the next five years.
“Give recent growth, particularly in our core market area in West Yorkshire, this is likely to be a conservative estimate and we expect our team to grow much faster than originally anticipated.
“We have been servicing clients in the region for ten years and have developed a strong reputation with small and medium sized business which is generating a good flow of referral business to supplement increased new business development activity,” he added.
